Sonic the Hedgehog movie was first in the sequel, and people did not seem to enjoy it much. “Sonic the Hedgehog” is a bad action-adventure, video game adaptation, and buddy comedy. Complaints were it was completely impersonal, did not have the feel of the emotion that was required. Some critics even said that even the kids won’t enjoy the movie as it’s just painfully bland. Nobody else has an excuse to see “Sonic the Hedgehog,” especially now that easily defeated parents can park their kids in front of a computer or TV and let them watch some “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” gameplay videos on YouTube.
Trust me: your kids’ happiness does not depend on them seeing this movie. While the kids might have enjoyed the movie, it was certainly not a worth-watch movie for the adults. Sonic the Hedgehog was not even a kid’s favorite movie. Critics say that the movie is just very predictable and plain boring with no proper plotline.

Plotline:
The world needed a hero — it got a hedgehog. Powered with incredible speed, Sonic embraces his new home on Earth — until he accidentally knocks out the power grid, sparking the attention of uncool evil genius Doc Robotnik. Now, it’s supervillain vs. supersonic in an all-out race across the globe to stop Robotnik from using Sonic’s unique power to achieve world domination.
Is Sonic the Hedgehog canceled?
Sonic the Hedgehog was initially set to be released in November 2019; however, due to the negative reception of the movie’s first trailer in April 2019, it was delayed to 14 February 2020. The film premiered in early 2020 worldwide, with a later release in China and Korea.
The trailer for the second part of the sequel arrived as an early Christmas present.
Will Sonic the Hedgehog 2 be released only in the US?
Initially, the movie was only supposed to be launched in the US, but now it’s officially confirmed that the sequel will arrive on April 8, 2022, in the UK and US.
